PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) - Pelindo I Group is a reputable state-owned company in Indonesia that is involved in port management services. Based in Medan North Sumatera, Pelindo I operates primarily as a port operator in the western part of Indonesia which covers 4 provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatera, Riau and Riau Islands. PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) is a non listed state-owned company and is fully-owned by the Government of Indonesia. As of December 2016, Pelindo I runs its business through 16 port branch offices, 1 representative office, 11 port areas and 1 working unit. Pelindo I also supported by 3 subsidiaries, 2 joint control entity companies, and 1 associated company, namely PT Prima Indonesia Logistik (99% owned by Pelindo I), PT Prima Pengembangan Kawasan (90%), PT Prima Husada Cipta Medan (99%), PT Prima Terminal Petikemas (70%), PT Prima Multi Terminal (55%), and PT Terminal Petikemas Indonesia (25%).

In term of financial performance, Pelindo I succeeded in posting positive financial performance in 2016. According to PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Annual Report 2015 as cited by JobsCDC.com, Pelindo I Group successfully recorded a total revenue of Rp2,408.90 billion in 2016. This number is up 2.91% from Rp2,340.72 billion in 2015. Total current year profit in 2016 amounted to Rp427.30 billion, booked a 1.54% growth from Rp 534.89 billlion in 2014.

Calon Pandu

Requirements

A minimum age of 30 years and a maximum of 45 years old per 1 December 2017.
Holder of Seafarers Certificate with minimum ANT-III (preferably ANT II and I) as well as STCW 1978 skills certificate amendment 2010.
Required sail experience for minimum 3 years as Mualim / Skipper with minimal vessel size of GT 1000.
Minimum height of 160 cm.
Physically and mentally healthy, no tattoo and drug-free.
Not color blind, do not wear glasses / optical lens, and does not have eye defects.
Well communicated in English (active).
Willing to be placed in the working area of PT Pelindo I, follow the Pandu training program, and undergo a bond.
